The newly opened Höglund Art Glass – International
Glass Centre offers a unique experience to glass lovers and those interested
in glass art.
This new Glass Centre is set within 7-acres of tranquil gardens, in the creative
haven of the Nelson region, just 20-minutes drive from Nelson City - on the northern
tip of the South Island of New Zealand.
It is home to internationally renowned glass artists Ola Höglund and Marie
Simberg-Höglund. They welcome thousands of visitors each year, all eager
to experience glass first hand. The Höglund Art Glass – International
Glass Centre features an extensive Glassblowing Studio, Glass Gallery, Exhibition
Hall, Engraving Studio and Coldwork Studio for cutting, grinding, sandblasting
and polishing.

Höglund Art Glass – International Glass Centre has recently undergone
major changes to make way for two impressive new Glass Galleries and Exhibition
Hall - with a total floor space of over 450 square metres, and here the full
range of Höglund Art Glass can be viewed in an ever-changing display. The
unique Höglund Art Glass pieces are on sale and can be gift-wrapped or packaged
for worldwide shipping, tax free and fully insured.
Latitude Nelson Chief Executive Paul Davis said the changes at
the Höglund Art Glass – International Glass Centre would add an
exciting new dimension to what had become one of Nelson's icon visitor attractions.
